You Don't Have To Spend A Fortune On Entertainment

Welcome to my blog. My name is John Maxwell. During the great recession, a lot of my friends found themselves struggling to pay the bills. The idea of spending money on entertainment became unthinkable. But there was a serious consequence to this. My friends saw less of each other. As a result, I went journey to find the most inexpensive or free ways of entertaining friends while still having a great time. Even though the great recession has long since passed, I believe that much of what I learned can still be useful. You can never save enough money on entertainment.

Things To Consider Before Choosing A Wedding Venue

Regardless of what type of wedding you want, you need a place to have it. Whether you are going to hold the ceremony in a location that is privately owned or one that is open to the public, you need to make arrangements well in advance of the date. Most popular venues book up very quickly and at least a few months in advance. As soon as you know the date, you need to start planning. When it comes to choosing the wedding and reception venues, there are a few things you need to take into consideration.

Date or Venue?

Some people have always wanted to get married on a specific date while others have a specific place in mind. You and your partner need to decide which is more important. When the venue is most important, you may need to be a bit flexible on the date if the place is already booked. If you are deadset on the date, be prepared to do a bit of searching for the venue.

Theme

If you are going to have some type of theme for your celebration, you will want a venue fits what you have planned. It is perfectly acceptable to have the marriage ceremony performed in a church or other religious or special place and then have the reception venue at a location that fits the theme. Of course, you can also have a religious leader perform the ceremony at a themed venue. Don't get too wrapped up in having both the wedding and reception at the same place if you can't seem to fit it though.

Capacity

When you plan on having a lot of people come to the wedding, you need to be sure that the venue will hold them all. While it can be very special to take your wedding vows at your grandmother's house, if the room is not large enough for everyone to see, it is not a good option.

Cost

Weddings can get very expensive if you are not careful. Make a budget for the whole thing and go from there. Do a bit of shopping around before making any final decisions on any one thing. You may find you are willing to spend a bit less on one aspect to have the venue of your choice.

Start making arrangements and doing a bit of research. Do not overthink anything and try to be flexible on as much as possible. Keep in mind that the important thing is the joining of two people who love each other. To learn more, get in touch with a company such as Rainbow Gardens.
