You Don't Have To Spend A Fortune On Entertainment

Welcome to my blog. My name is John Maxwell. During the great recession, a lot of my friends found themselves struggling to pay the bills. The idea of spending money on entertainment became unthinkable. But there was a serious consequence to this. My friends saw less of each other. As a result, I went journey to find the most inexpensive or free ways of entertaining friends while still having a great time. Even though the great recession has long since passed, I believe that much of what I learned can still be useful. You can never save enough money on entertainment.

3 Forms Of Beach Entertainment Found At Resort Hotels

A stay at a beachfront hotel offers plenty of relaxation right near the water. You can lay out on a towel, sit in a beach chair, or enjoy the relaxation of a hammock. If you seek out more than just relaxation, then you could look for resort hotels that offer entertainment on the beach. The entertainment comes in many forms and calendars change on a regular basis.

Check out some of the forms of entertainment and what to look for when you book a trip to a beachfront hotel.

1. Beach Bands

Enjoy live music right on the beach with some beach bands. You can stand up to dance and sing along, or you can choose to relax in a cabana or beach chair as you enjoy the live music. The backdrop of the ocean provides an ideal way to enjoy beach music and you can really take in a lot of visuals with the experience.

A beach band could include local music or cover bands that will play some of your favorite songs. A resort may set up a separate stage area on the beach so you still have access to the water if you want to go for a swim in the water. Some hotels may open the microphone to guests for beach-side karaoke or singing competitions.

2. Beach Sports Competitions

If you want to add a little competition to your beach vacation, then consider resort hotels that offer scheduled sports. For example, a hotel may offer a beach volleyball tournament. You could form your own team or get paired with random guests at the hotel. Along with beach volleyball, the sand is ideal for corn hole, ring toss, and other games.

You may also sit in as an audience member for other competitions. For example, a beach hotel could host a surfing competition. You can see trained surfers take on big waves and enjoy the spectacle live.

3. Beach Dance Parties

At night, a beach may host a variety of dance parties. A basic dance party may include a DJ and a hard surface dance floor that is placed right over the sand. A dance party may also include professional dancers. For example, the hotel may showcase fire dancers who spin and dance with different fire-based elements.

Some of the dance parties may include different themes including music genres or eras like the 1990s. Check the schedule at the hotel to see which ones appeal to you the most.

The beach entertainment available at a hotel can really enhance your experience and make the stay even more memorable. For more information, contact a beachfront hotel near you.
